Your documents stay on your device
PAPER processes PDFs, imported images, scanned pages, drawn signatures, recognised text and document search indexes locally. Importing a file creates a working copy in PAPER’s application storage. AJETE Digital does not receive your documents through the app.
Camera and document access
PAPER requests camera access when you scan documents on iPhone or iPad. You choose documents and images using Apple’s system file picker. You can change camera permission in your device settings.
Document intelligence
Text recognition, search and document analysis run on your device. Where supported and available, PAPER uses Apple’s on-device system model for document answers. PAPER does not send document content to an external AI API. Apple controls the availability of its system models and related software.
Accounts, tracking and analytics
PAPER does not require a PAPER account. The app has no advertising, tracking or analytics SDK and does not send document content or usage analytics to AJETE Digital.
Purchases
Apple processes PAPER Pro purchases and subscriptions. PAPER uses Apple’s StoreKit to verify access and restore purchases. PAPER does not receive your payment card details. Apple’s services and privacy practices apply to your Apple Account and purchases.
Sharing, iCloud and backups
You choose when and where to export or share a document. Selecting iCloud Drive or another Files provider, or sharing to another app, can transfer your selected file through that provider. PAPER does not automatically synchronise its document library. Exported copies, cloud storage and device backups are managed by you and the services you use, under their respective policies.
Deleting local information
Settings → Delete all local data removes PAPER’s local documents and saved signatures. It does not remove exported copies or files stored with another provider. You manage those copies and any device backups separately. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Contacting support
If you email AJETE Digital, we receive the address, message and any attachments you send and use them to handle your request. Please do not send private documents, passwords or payment details. Contact developer@ajetedigital.com for privacy questions or requests concerning information you sent to support.
Changes
We will update this page and its effective date if PAPER’s privacy practices change.
